The mission was to tell the 5 Gyres organization story at the occasion of their 18th sailing expedition, taking a group of citizen scientists to Indonesia’s Coral Triangle. The goal was to address tackling the ocean plastic pollution problem in a manner that was hopeful, solutions-oriented, science-based, empowering, even fun!

LITTLE RAY OF HOPE—KAWANGWARE, KENYA
Shot in Kawangware, Kenya, one of Africa’s biggest slums, to highlight and raise funds for the incredible Little Ray of Hope—a school, home and family created by Evelyn Waneloba. This was filmed at the occassion of a cross cultural exchange with Bilingual Birdies, a U.S.-based early education foreign language program, which uses music, dance and puppets.
